OpenMask: A TON Wallet in your Browser
OpenMask is a Chrome extension developed by OpenProduct that allows users to access TON enabled decentralized applications, or "dApps," directly in their browser. Similar to MetaMask, OpenMask injects the ton web3 API into every website's javascript context, enabling dApps to interact with the blockchain.
One of the key features of OpenMask is the ability for users to create and manage their own identities via private keys stored in a local client wallet. This provides a secure interface for reviewing and approving transactions before they are written to the blockchain. The wallet also supports biometric authentication through Touch ID for Mac, Yubikey, or mobile phones.
OpenMask supports various network features such as Jettons, NFT, TON DNS, TON WWW, TON Proxy, TON Sites, and more. It requires permission to read and write to any webpage due to the added functionality it provides. The extension's source code can be viewed on Github for transparency and security.
With OpenMask, users can seamlessly interact with TON dApps and securely manage their transactions directly from their browser.
